JFCS Annual Meeting Was a Success!

Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us at the 2024 JFCS Annual Meeting last month! We loved seeing smiling faces of staff, community partners, donors, volunteers, and even clients who have been essential to the work we do each year.


World Refugee Day 2024

Celebrate World Refugee Day 2024 on June 20, 4-8 PM at Schenley Plaza, Pittsburgh. Enjoy cultural acts, international food, and artisanal crafts, recognizing refugee and immigrant contributions.


Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community

Support or join Team JFCS in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community as we raise funds to support the JFCS Squirrel Hill Food Pantry. 100% of our funds raised will allow us to get food and supplies from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. All are welcome to come and walk with friends & family.

Event Details: Saturday June 22, 2024. Registration begins at 7:45 AM. Walking Begins at 9 AM


Teen’s Journey From Cameroon to Pittsburgh

JFCS played a pivotal role in aiding a teenage boy and his family escape their conflict-ridden homeland, as highlighted in The Trib’s touching story. The family has successfully started a new chapter in Pittsburgh, leaving their turbulent past behind.
