At JF&CS, we’re busy preparing for our upcoming gala, and we hope you’ve saved the date to share in our celebration of 75 years at our Lifecycles & Laughtracks event on November 17th.
We are thrilled to have longtime JF&CS supporters Barbara and Herb Shear as the Honorary Chairs for this event, and past-president Carolyn Mendelson and husband Marc as Chairs.
Lifecycles & Laughtracks will be an exciting night of food, friends and entertainment with our valued supporters, along with five-time Emmy Award winner Alan Zweibel, renowned writer of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and the original “Saturday Night Live.”
Adding to the excitement of the celebration, JF&CS was recently featured in Shady Ave magazine in an article featuring our agency’s 75-year history. We hope you’ll take a few minutes to read the article, which details JF&CS’s continuous evolution over the years to meet our community’s changing needs, and the impact we’ve had on so many individuals and families in our community.
Whether providing food for a family in need, offering job search assistance to an individual who is recently unemployed, support to children in the foster care system, helping older adults and their families meet the challenges of aging, or providing hope and support to individuals and families for so many other overwhelming challenges, in this current economic environment, JF&CS is being asked to do more for an ever-increasing number of individuals and families.
