Jordan’s note on spring to JFCS board and staff – thought we’d share it with you.
To JFCS board and Staff:
As the bare and cold winter leaves us, flowers and other plants are beginning to stick up out of the ground. The greenery that we took for granted last August now sparks a sense of wonder and beauty as it emerges once again. For me, the renewal and growth of spring is especially poignant and meaningful this year after the harshness of this past fall and winter in our community. I find it reassuring that even the earth knows that darkness is temporary and that light and warmth are always around the corner.
Whether you celebrate Passover, Easter, Earth Day, or any other holiday, I wish for all of you a joyous, peaceful, and rejuvenating spring time.
