Jewish Scholarship Service of Pittsburgh (JSS) announces that applications for financial aid for the 2020-2021 academic year are open! If you are a Jewish high school senior or enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or technical school with demonstrated financial need, JSS financial aid can help you achieve your higher education dreams.
In today’s world, a college education is critical to future success, but it’s also expensive, so every dollar of financial assistance counts. JSS is the result of combined efforts of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh plus other organizations, agencies and scholarship endowment funds. Over the years, JSS has helped thousands of local Jewish students pursue higher education.
JSS scholarships provide need-based financial aid to local Jewish students enrolled in accredited post-secondary institutions. Last year, JSS awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships to more than 200 area Jewish students.
Any Jewish high school senior or students enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or technical school with demonstrated financial need living in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland counties can apply and are encouraged to visit the JSS website jfcspgh.org/scholarships to learn more and access the online application, which has been updated for ease of use. The deadline for all applications is February 12, 2020.
